BIA GlobalLinker’s Privacy Policy governs the collection, use and protection of your Personal Information, Sensitive Personal Information, and Transactional Data, collectively referred to as “Personal Data” by BIA GlobalLinker, which is controlled by DigiVation Digital Solutions Private Limited (‘DigiVation’). BIA GlobalLinker collects Personal Data which enhances your experience with us, which ranges from identifiable information and linkable Personal Data and other Transactional Data.

In order to process the delivery and fulfil contractual obligations of BIA GlobalLinker Services to you as a Member or as a User as agreed upon in the Terms of Use, we collect the following Personal Data about you: full legal name, email address, mobile number, company name, and job title or designation. These Personal Data are collected upon creation of your Account or as shared by Members of your Company and/or partners to facilitate BIA GlobalLinker’s group sign-up activities to become BIA GlobalLinker Member and create your profile. We may also collect other Personal Data or any information about you, your firm, your products and services and your colleagues as may be requested while you visit BIA GlobalLinker or from alternate and public domain sources. Additional information about you, your company, your business, contact information, if included in your profile at your sole discretion, could enrich your experience with us.

When you link your Facebook or Google account or any other third-party account services to BIA GlobalLinker, we get access to basic information, including but not restricted to your name and email address, from these accounts in order to create your account on BIA GlobalLinker. In addition, as you permit BIA GlobalLinker, we may also access contact information like of your friends and contacts from these accounts to enrich your networking experience on BIA GlobalLinker.

The information that we receive from these services may also depend on your settings and their privacy policies too. Hence, we advise you to check those details too.

Device and Log Information

BIA GlobalLinker collects or determines device and log information for trend analysis to improve your overall experience with us and our Services. When you view and interact with BIA GlobalLinker pages, features, and functionality, including BIA GlobalLinker mobile applications, features and platform technology, we also collect your internet protocol address, browser type, operating system, mobile carrier, and your internet service provider, and receive the addresses of sites from which you arrive or leave BIA GlobalLinker, or sites that have embedded BIA GlobalLinker.

In order to fulfil your requests for services that require payments, we may share your payment information with our payment processors or payment gateway partners and other fulfilment agencies.

In case you decline such a request, you will be requested to input such details every time you need to connect with such third-party sites for transacting.

Advertising and Web Beacons

We may serve our own ads and may also allow third party advertisements and/or messages on BIA GlobalLinker to Members and Visitors. We may also include a file, called a Web Beacon, for research and analysis of your site usage behaviour.

How this information is used

We use Personal Data you provide in order to:

a. display your profile to prospective and existing BIA GlobalLinker Members, through searches within and outside BIA GlobalLinker including in the form of your eBiz card, profile and in other forms to identify content and other inputs posted by you as a part of content contributed or other activities performed by you on BIA GlobalLinker;

b. authenticate, administer your Account with us and to assist, support, orient, coach and to tailor or customise your experience on BIA GlobalLinker through the presentation of, including but not limited to, contextually relevant content, offers, messages, advertisements, and other corporate communications;

c. provide you Services and/or promotional communications through email, SMS, calls to your number (landline and/or mobile) and other forms of communication including but not limited to notices on BIA GlobalLinker and based on your message preferences either directly or through Bombay Industries Association's authorised representatives and/or our Affiliate Partners;

d. connect you to other BIA GlobalLinker and community Members to provide greater opportunities for you to grow the business of your Company;

e. perform actions initiated by you and perform actions which will help you grow your business on BIA GlobalLinker;

f. conduct data analysis, surveys, polls, and other forms of business intelligence activities and deliverables;

g. provide important communications and notices;

h. resolve queries and other communications through our helpdesk;

i. comply with legal obligations;

j. disclose relevant information with partner and/or third-party websites;

communicate with other Members or Users on BIA GlobalLinker which may include, but is not limited to, messages, shares, comments with linked and unlinked Members, or outside BIA GlobalLinker.

improve products and services and joint communication of Bombay Industries Association (India) Limited;

analyse data and to contact you in connection with product and service offerings of Bombay Industries Association (India) Limited.

All such content shared will be shared by you via BIA GlobalLinker features and functions or with each other. Such content may be available for others to view unless specified and you are advised to exercise caution before posting content which you may deem to be confidential or violate your or any other Member rights.

Please note that we do not sell, rent, or otherwise provide Personal Data to third parties without your consent unless it is necessary to carry out your instructions such as processing your payment information or to add efficiencies and economies to our systems and operating processes.

Your Information Choices

You may:

a. Review, enhance or edit your Personal Data through your settings and your personal profile page.

b. Control the messages you receive from BIA GlobalLinker and other Members within and outside of your network on BIA GlobalLinker.

c. Change your profile and manage your network on BIA GlobalLinker to control visibility and accessibility through BIA GlobalLinker.

d. Control whether BIA GlobalLinker uses your name and profile photo in social ads.

e. Close/Delete your BIA GlobalLinker Account.

Your Obligations to other Members

Misuse and unlawful use of Member or User Information

While using the Services offered on BIA GlobalLinker you are also obligated to respect the privacy of Personal Data of other Members or Users of BIA GlobalLinker and not misuse the access you have through search, networking facilities and other means available on BIA GlobalLinker. You must also endeavour to maintain confidentiality of other Member’s Personal Data and transactions if the same are shared with you.

In case of any abuse or alleged abuse of the privacy of other Members or Users, BIA GlobalLinker through its platform owner, DigiVation, reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to take appropriate action against you in accordance with the terms of the Terms of Use.

Your Company Admin may be acquainted with additional information regarding your use of Company related modules and functions on BIA GlobalLinker.

In addition, the Company Admin will be able to allow, deny usage of functions and activities and also assign authority to the Members of the Company.

Modifications to BIA GlobalLinker Privacy Policy

We review our Privacy Policy from time to time, and we may make periodic changes to the policy in connection with that review. Therefore, you may wish to bookmark this page and/or periodically review this page to make sure you have the latest version.

Notice of all changes that materially affect ways in which your Personal Data may be used or shared will be posted in updates to our Privacy Policy. These changes will be enforced once posted in the BIA GlobalLinker Privacy Policy.

Closing your BIA GlobalLinker Account/Deletion of Personal Information

You may request to delete your account in two ways:

1. Via your Settings>Close Account

2. An email at info@bia.globallinker.com via your registered email ID

You must ensure that you have cleared all your commitments and dues.

Once you apply for a request your Personal Information is suitably deleted from BIA GlobalLinker, except to comply with statutory and legal requirements. If any content is shared on the platform, these are retained. Only your identifiable information is deleted. In case you request complete deletion of your data, please send us a verifiable request at info@bia.globallinker.com.

Store Owners in addition, must also close all open orders and ensure there are no pending orders. You also need to provide an explicit consent that the store is free of any liabilities.

Any communication directed toward you will be routed to your latest communication address with us.

Legal Obligations and Compliance
